WE CRAVE CREATIVITY

OUR STORY

Yellow Sheep Foundation was established in 2016 with the aim of promoting modern forms of education and international cooperation. We support young people by creating inspiring projects, workshops, and youth exchanges that help them develop new skills, creativity, and confidence. Through non-formal education, we explore a wide range of topics — from culture and music to psychology, cybersecurity, and social development. Our mission is to empower young people, spark creativity, and encourage them to take an active role in shaping the future.

BUT.. WHO ARE WE?

CEO

Mateusz Piątkiewicz

Cultural, educational, and investment project manager with over 15 years of experience. Since 2009, he has been associated with the Cultural Centre in Włoszczowa, where he is responsible for fundraising and coordinating national and international projects.

Since 2016, he has led the Yellow Sheep Foundation, managing interdisciplinary teams and developing projects in non-formal education and youth exchange. He has prepared over 180 funding applications, implemented 91 projects financed from national and EU funds, and coordinated 45 international youth exchanges with partners from more than 10 European countries.

He holds an MA in social rehabilitation and social prevention, postgraduate qualifications in project management, and PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner certification. In 2014, he received the EDUinspirator award for his educational work and was nominated for an award from the President of the Republic of Poland for his contribution to the development of Polish culture.

Project coordinator / Facilitator

Paweł Skoczek

He first encountered Erasmus+ in 2018 during a project focused on cultural differences in business. The world of non-formal education drew him in so strongly that since then, he has taken part in nearly 50 international projects as a participant, facilitator, and coordinator.

He believes that the right environment is key to personal growth, and that youth exchanges and non-formal education methods create exactly that kind of space. A safe setting, learning by doing, and the freedom to make mistakes can achieve more than many traditional courses or training sessions.

Growing up outside the big cities gave him a firsthand understanding of what access to international opportunities can mean for young people.

EVENT MANAGER / Facilitator

Aleksy Kaczmarzyk

He first took part in an Erasmus+ project in 2019, which focused on graffiti. The people he met there completely changed the way he perceived education. Since then, his goal has been to help young people understand that they are the ones shaping their own reality and future.

He has participated in over 30 youth exchanges as a participant, facilitator, and coordinator. He strongly believes that young people need an approach that reflects the times they live in and the environment they are part of. He sees non-formal education as a key to the personal growth of young people.

A trained IT specialist, he is currently writing his engineering thesis in computer science. He is passionate about cybersecurity, sociology, and pop culture.
